I'm not really worried about content right now, more like I'm hoping the interface to be really good, useful and convenient. Otherwise it would defeat the purpose of using Home.

It's...not perfect. It's useful if you have friends who want to play a game that happens to support it, which in the closed beta is only Warhawk. There's no list of what games will have Home support starting from today, so I guess we'll have to see.

I have a feeling Sony's just pushing out Home today because they don't want to get caught sticking their foot in their mouth again about it's heavily delayed launch. Unless there's a massive update today that changes a lot of stuff, I don't quite see how it's very useful for public release. So far only one game supports it, there's a huge amount of customization content and features missing and the hype is just plain dead.

Resistance 2 will likely support it soon enough. Incidentally I traded in Warhawk to buy that game...


I've gotten better at it now but I still say the MP is horribly unbalanced. Maybe Insomniac will wisen up and nerf the marksman already and include some kind of system to balance out the teams properly (yeah, it's real fucking fair when 1 team has all the Supreme Commanders with the mofo Pulse Cannon set as their berserk)

IG hasn't even released their first major patch yet, so give it some time. R1 after a few months was almost a completely different game from R1 at launch. They're one of the few devs that listen to their players when it comes to balancing. Practically everything you're playing in the launch version now is derived from the complaints and suggestions of alpha and beta players.

It seems like I'll finally be able to get Valkyrie, R2 and Dead Space next week.

Maybe I'll be able to join the R2 fun this time around.

Valkyria Chronicles is one of the best games on the PS3. Hands down.

I downloaded the demo and by the tiem I finished the Skirmish mode I was like "ZOMG this game rocks!"

Is it true the game includes the original Japanese Voices? It's already really good even with the english dub in the demo, so with japanese language it would be (Impossible to gauge.)

Yeah, the dub is pretty good but it does have the original Japanese voice overs.

I'm still waiting for my VC. >< I've been put on a video game moratorium until after Christmas. /fume /angry /punchsomeoneintheface

There are a few more I'm waiting on for Christmas too. Tales for Wii, Golden Axe for 360, Eternal Poison & P4 for PS2, Fallout 3 for PC, and another for DS and PSP. I usually get one game for every system at Christmas.

Well, I see so many deals during the Christmas season that I tend to buy just as much for myself as for others. This tends to piss off people giving me gifts because I buy what they would have or have bought. So usually around my birthday (middle of November) I get a stern talking to and/or threatened to not be buying anymore stuff for myself. I don't always succeed though.

For Dead Space, play at night with the lights off and the volume cranked. If it doesn't scare the piss out of you something's very wrong XD

I've heard a lot about it so I'm looking forward to playing that one. I just hope it doesn't take too long for me to play that one. It's queue number 4.
