There seem to be a large number of beta tests this fall, moreso than previous years.

In the next few months, the following betas worth noting will be running (some have already started):

WORLD OF WARCRAFT: Wrath of the Lich King

I've probably missed quite a few. Who's in what? I've played a bit of SOCOM (thanks to your son, TGM!) and I've just entered the RESISTANCE 2 Private Beta (the public test goes live early next month). I didn't get into Home Beta, and I'm really hoping to give LittleBigPlanet and KILLZONE 2 a go.

Anyone else in any of the current beta tests, or looking forward to any more coming soon?

I've played a bit of SOCOM (thanks to your son, TGM!)

So I heard!! Too bad there are so many issues right now. I got on this morning and the first time I had to wait 12 minutes to get in game and another time I had to wait 20 minutes. It just wasn't worth it imo and the grandkids would rather watch cartoons anyways. LOL

Looks like PS3 is trying to get some nice quality out before the holidays tested and good to go. Ill take killzone, resistance, and socom santa thanks.

Well they better get the issues with SOCOM f**king fixed first! Would be a huge black eye to release it with the problems it has right now. They need to build up faith not tear it down.

Not sure if it counts, but I'm still in the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King beta. Other than that though, I'm waiting patiently for LBP.

Nothing particularly wrong; there's just very little content in the closed beta. Don't expect much of a change with the launch of the open beta either; Sony says that much of their new content is "imminent" but won't be available immediately.

Like with trophies, it'll take a few months for developers to get underway with making their games Home compatible. It's certainly been useful for me though, as I play a lot of Warhawk.
