Kingdom Hearts: Chain Of Memories: Rumblings Of PS2 Chain Of Memories At GameStop Expo

"A tipster who chooses to remain anonymous dropped us a line to let us in on a juicy little tidbit from the GameStop Expo in Las Vegas. According to the source, yesterday during Square Enix's presentation, mention was made of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for the PS2.


Once Square-Enix was up, there was a small mention of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. When asked if it was the one that was included with Final Mix II in Japan, they confirmed it with a nod. There hasn't been any official announcement through Square, just a small mention...

Of course until we get an official announcement this is still firmly in the realm of rumor, but combined with the rumors that ran rampant back in July about Square Enix auditioning an English voice cast, there could very well be some truth behind it. With a hungry fanbase desperate for anything Kingdom Hearts related, it would be silly for this not to happen."

CoM was my favorite Kingdom Hearts, I will take back every bitter thing I've said about SE if they release it for PS2 here.

It'll be nice if this is true. After playing KH2: FM+, I can say the PS2 version of CoM is pretty awesome. It flows so much smoother than the GBA version. The addition of reaction commands is very nice as are High Jump and Glide (Glide makes the Riku 4 fight a complete joke)

I agree wholeheartedly. KH2 was for preschoolers in terms of gameplay, CoM introduced a system that was both strategic and challenging. Feba just sucks at it.

KH2 being too easy isn't a good excuse to implement a plainly broken system to create artificial difficulty.

That said, I just bought KH2 a week ago because I had given up on the hopes of FM ever coming out, so you're all fucking welcome!

The CoM on the FM+ was in japanese right or is there way to turn on the subtitles ? I never did play it through again cause I could not read the menus. It would be great if they make a full version, it was a really game on the GBA.

It's official, Gamestop employees returning from the event have been posting confirmation on GAF. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories coming to PS2 this holiday, $29.99. Not bundled with Final Mix+, just standalone.

I hated CoM personally...

I agree that KH2 was pretty lol in terms of difficulty (save for the last fight) but to me, the battle system of CoM was too complex and just no fun @ all. But then that's why people have opinions. It pissed me off because I wanted to see the story, but I found combat to be far too frustrating to enjoy it.
