I actually liked Rose. Of course, the "you just saved your game. you probably don't have anywhere to go so I'm going to pour my heart into some rather dramatic and pretty important stuff over the next ten minutes" bit was annoying, but the character worked.

Also, guys, Donald Duck. Really. And are my eyes playing tricks on me, or did NOBODY mention Navi?

Also, fuck, if you're going to make a character talk for 20 button presses, and then make him ask "Did you get all that?" do NOT put "No" as the first option.

The Emperor in Oblivion. Seriously, the bastard WANTS to die, I even tried blocking the path that the guy comes through to kill him, and it took 25 minutes for the assassin to push me far enough so that he could get through to stab at the Emperor.

I didn't really like Paine in FFX-2, but all in all, I didn't like that game much at all either.

The owl from Zelda that gave me a 20 button speach 6 times in a row because I was rapidly pressing A to get through it faster. Tingle is another one... pedophile bastard.

Selphie. Her slots were the only good thing about her. Getting "The End" triple casted was fun and all, but she was a horrible character.

Penelo and Vaan from FFXII. Annoying as shit. Penelo and Vaan need to go die in a cave somewhere and let the game continue with the real super-team. Balthier, Basch, and slutty-bunny-girl.

Yeah I think Vaan takes the cake as worst "main" character ever. I want to strangle whoever wrote FF12. The story was alright for the most part, but Ashe really just steals the stage away from him to the point where he could have died/vanished and it would have had zero impact.

Most 1 dimentional character ever.

I don't really see why Vaan was annoying, he was just kinda there and had a reason to be mad at the Empire. I mean, Gabronth did kill his brother and all. Vaan was kinda the pawn that got the ball rolling.

Penelo didn't have anything aside from being cute. I think of Vaan and Penelo as the Artoo and C3P0 of FFXII since there wasn't really a Luke.

Balthier = Han Solo
Fran = Chewbacca
Basch = Obi Wan
Ashe = Princess Leia
Vaan = R2D2
Penelo = C3P0

EDIT: After getting frustrated with "Cop Land" so much in Vice City, I fell back on my old strategy when I got stuck somewhere in GTA III. I got max Wanted rating and jacked a Rhino. Lance seemed to find the door on that fast and no worries about cop and FBI cars trying to turn me over as I got away. I'm keeping the Rhino for future missions >.>/

If the game doesn't force me to put the person in my party then he/she clearly isn't main character enough!
