    Golden Axe Beast Rider: New Golden Axe Beast Rider Trailer

    Golden Axe Video

    "Beast Rider is the next installment in the Golden Axe series and we got this new trailer for it. While the game technically looks very good I am going to have to go with McWhertor on this one; the game looks, well, brown. Expect Golden Axe Beast Rider out on Xbox 360 and PS3 later this year."

    I will admit it....hack and slashs are one of my favorite genres! I don't think I'll pre-order or buy on release day......but I am going to keep my eye out for this one!

    I've never played Golden Axe, but this seems pretty interesting. Reminds me of Monster Hunter with the beast riding thing, and involves a female main character that isn't emotionally weak and/or designated to some back line role.

        Golden Axe was awesome back on the Sega Genesis. Anyone know what happened to the new Altered Beast?

          Well they did release another Altered Beast on the PS2 but it wasn't ported over here. They also released one here on the GBA which was meh. I'm not aware of any project in the works though. Otherwise you can d/l Altered Beast on the Wii.

            I played Golden Axe on my amiga 500, i played tiredlessly, with a friend.

              Oh man I played Golden Axe so much at the arcades, even though it was already an old game at the time.

              This makes me feel old, it also kinda sort of doesn't fit the image I have from the old game. Looks more like a Conan Expansion to me, but then again the original game was too Conan to begin with.
