"Sony previously announced several planned pre-order bonuses for LittleBigPlanet, including custom downloadable "Sackboy" versions of God of War's Kratos and Heavenly Sword's Nariko. While the Ghost of Sparta went to GameStop, the official LBP blog has revealed that pre-ordering the game at Best Buy will land you a download voucher code for Nariko.

Both characters are über-spiffy, but, if you want both, you'll have to pre-order the game twice. No one's preventing you from avoiding it at one of the two stores when it's released, though. Oh no, certainly not us. Of course, you could always wait a bit for the characters to be made available for paid download via the PlayStation Store, something we're sure Sony would never think of doing, not in a million billion years."

Royal treatment: Prince of Persia 'Limited Edition' free for pre-orders - Joystiq

"It's good to be the king, er ... prince. Or, in this case, simply a pre-order holder for Ubisoft's upcoming Prince of Persia series refresh. The publisher has announced that anyone who lays down the cash (or plastic, or first-borns) to reserve the game will receive the Limited Edition – at no extra cost.

In an unusual step, Ubisoft is creating the LE for pre-orders only, simply as an incentive to pony up early for the game. Unlike other "special" or "limited" edition treatments of current-gen games, it won't come as a $10-$20 premium to advance purchasers – it'll run the standard $59.99. However, those who don't pre-order won't get the goodies, which include:

An exclusive look at the making of Prince of Persia

I plan on picking up the burlap sack for LBP, because downloadable character skins for free are kinda pointless if I'm never gonna use em. However, LBP still does have some cool freebies. Now to wait for them to actually make a sackboy figure.

Persona 4 comes with OST, but that's par for course with Atlus. Still, that's really all i care to get out of this sort of thing. Gaming doodads just get lost in a box eventually.

I have a Samus bobblehead, a stuffed Vivi, Maximo, YRP and Ulala figurines, a Shenmue II poster autographed by Yu Suzuki. Only thing really still on display is the poster. That was earned by doing a massive IGN forum write-up for Shenmue II and MS Game Studios taking notice of it as it was about to be released for Xbox.

Shipping later this year, the dolls come in two different sizes - 10 centimeter tall mascot figures, suitable for hanging from backpacks, belt loops, review mirrors and the like, and 25 centimeter plushies, which come in both normal and hook n' eye patch pirate flavors. They're both available for pre-order via NCS for $12.18 and $22.90 respectively, with the former including free shipping.

Kind of hard to tell how good the figures look. As NCS points out, advertising brown things on a dark background is not a good idea, no matter how much outer glow you apply. Still, they are living, breathing SackBoy toys, and that's exactly what we wanted. Yum."

Sony is going to be marketing an official Sackboy plush. They haven't released details yet.

I preordered at Gamestop to get my Kratos code, then preordered at BestBuy to get my Nariko code, then moved my Gamestop preorder over to the Resistance 2 Collector's Edition. Yay for both!

Another neat freebie, if you preorder Prince of Persia, you get upgraded to the Limited Edition for free.

Do you get the codes for the in game skins at the time of pre-ordering or do you have to wait till you get the game? Because if so I'm not the type to risk multiple per-orders because I know I'd end up screwing up and getting three copies of the game itself..

Do you get the codes for the in game skins at the time of pre-ordering or do you have to wait till you get the game? Because if so I'm not the type to risk multiple per-orders because I know I'd end up screwing up and getting three copies of the game itself..

Yes, you'll get the code for pre-ordering. So basically it will cost you $5 for the skin.
