omg!!! This would be so awesome!!! I really hope they don't do anything horrible and mess with the battle system too much.

Finally, a remake without loading times so bad, that I can't stand getting into battles.

        I hope.

        Gleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

they will just tag on the same crappy touch functions that FFIII and FFIV have

          that most wont use ;p

as far as it being a remake? mmmmm maybe its a sequel or something new entirely, but seeing SEs track record lately, its a good chance its a remake ;p

It's an "enhanced port" according to Famitsu. Probably not on the level of the Final Fantasy remakes, more like the Dragon Quest ports.

After the last sequel, I'm still content to believe Chrono Trigger is the one and only Chrono game.

I thought ChronoCross was a great game personally.

                    Re: ChronoTrigger DS?

Chrono Cross was indeed a good game, but I don't like how it fit into the Chrono Trigger world... it basically said that everything you did in Trigger didn't really matter because Lavos never really died.

This brings back memories though -- I thought I had heard of a real CT sequel though, done by Square/SE. This was about 5 years ago or so, though I may well be thinking of some fan sequels I had also heard about at the time.

As far as CT for the DS, I'll probably end up buying a DS solely for this game. It wouldn't be the first time. I've loved CT since the first time I played it... where do you think I got my internet handle from?

                      Re: ChronoTrigger DS?

Chrono Cross was a good game as long as you didn't compare it to Chrono Trigger. To me it was just a game unrelated to any other, and by those standards I enjoyed it immensely!

CT for the DS will be nice. I'm not super excited about it since I've played it on my DS via a rom and just recently played it on my big tv via the Wii. But being the addict that I am, I'll buy it. LOL

I for one couldn't be happier. Chrono Trigger is my all time favorite game. Maybe with some luck, this could lead to even bigger things for the series.

Winrar pretty much. This will be my 4th copy of my favorite game of all time. I've had the PSX remake on my PSP memory stick for quite a while but the load times are disgusting, so this may be made of much win.

Please don't let this be made of fail and aids.
