I'm playing Crisis Core on Hard Mode.

That was the worst decision I ever made. 10 hours in, I realized that this mode was Bat-Shit Insane. Enemies have anywhere from 2-5 times the HP, twice the strength and twice the defense.

Couple that with me wanting to get 100% on the Missions before I beat it. *sigh*

100% on Hard Mode isn't going to be happening till I'm at least 80 (currently lvl 40).



I still haven't beat Monster Hunter Portable 2. And I still haven't beat Patapon. I love how there are no new games in the summer. Gives me an excuse to beat the ones I have.

Heh, is it bad that, throughout playing CC, all I could think about was "Why does this dude LOVE squats!?!"?

Gonna finally buy FFXII and beat it this time. I rented it two times to try to get into it. Think I can do it now... and finally not mess up on obtaining a Zodiac Spear.

I also want to try getting my hands on a copy of FF8. I seriously miss that game. Was my first FF, y'see.

I really don't see why people get so worried about the Zodiac spear. Is it awesome? Yes. Is the rest of the game pointless if you don't get it? Hell no!

I bought BioShock last night. But I'm a moron when it comes to graphics cards and it turns out mine's too crappy (I find this a bit odd, as I've been able to run comparable games on my computer).

Sooo.... it won't be 'til this weekend and next week that I'll be playing BioShock with the new graphics card I bought off of Newegg last night.

Sooo.... it won't be 'til this weekend and next week that I'll be playing BioShock with the new graphics card I bought off of Newegg last night.

Bioshock is a good game, but has unreasonably high harware requirements. I had to set it to the lowest settings and resolution.

I believe they're specifically squats used to strengthen the body by indian wrestlers. They're noted in Bruce Lee's Tao of Jeet Kune Do.


I'll be playing Ninja Gaiden 2, the greatest game ever. There is nothing more awesome than ripping through hordes of enemies with claws on your hands and feet, or with a giant pole, or with Vigoorian flails, or with the sickle and chain. The fights are extremely intense and rarely must you fight anything other than a ninja or demon.

Hack and slash FTW!

I'd like to think this is different, if even just a little bit. I've played hack and slash games, some better than others, but that pretty accurately describes the game either way. Some of the enemy mechanics in Ninja Gaiden 2, no matter how annoying they are, force you to do more than just hack and slash. Most of the time you're dodging rockets, ninpo, or the dismembered body parts of the lycanthropes you've recently defeated while trying to defend yourself. At other times you must be weary of the enemy's grapples, because they'll deal a lot of damage and make you look silly in front of your friends.

I enjoyed the demo of Ninja Gaiden 2 far more than I thought I would. It's a lot more fun than just basic hack and slash.

I picked up two games this past week and started playing a new one on the DS that I had an interest in.

Bourne Conspiracy was actually pretty good and it kept my attention longer than the other game I bought...

Ninja Gaiden II is what most fans will expect. Of course the graphics are really amazing, but learning all the moves is what frustrates me the most in that you have no time to practice them before being thrown into combat.
I actually enjoyed Ninja Gaiden on the DS more than the new Xbox version... so far.

On the DS a game titled 'The World Ends With You' has really caught my attention with it's unique gameplay and storyline.

I need to finish up GTA IV, but hunting down all those pigeons was draining my sanity...
