Abso-freaking-lutely disgusting. I was already far more interested in Rock Band, but this takes GH from being the inferior option to being unacceptable.

This just made me angry. Vandalism and disrespect...way to go Activision. Out of my album collection that was recently ruined in a flood, there were a few that I've tried to save even if they aren't perfect. Hendrix's albums are some of those few.

If EA took the grave of a soldier and put a "MEDAL OF HONOR: HEROES 3" logo on it, wouldn't you be offended? If ATLUS took a memorial for a doctor who found the cure for a disease that killed millions of people and put a "TRAUMA CENTER: UNDER THE KNIFE 2" logo on it, wouldn't you be offended? Desecrating a monument TO SELL A VIDEO GAME is hardly a small matter.

And frankly, I don't give a shit about Rock Band vs. GH. Rock Band just looked more fun, Harmonix treated it's users better, and it had better track choices. But if Harmonix had done this with Rock Band, I'd be right on attacking them as well.

Personally, TGM, I don't find it offensive so much as insulting. Like, making Disney Rule 34? That might be offensive to some people. Vandalizing the statue of Walt and Mickey to look inappropriate? That's insulting.

If they had made a "Hendrix" type character in their games? I wouldn't have cared. Used an image of Hendrix, photoshopped to look like he was holding a GH controller? Wouldn't have cared there either. But you do NOT advertise on memorials.

Would I ever defile a grave? no, but thats just it, this is a statue, not his grave site.

it is a little thing, since it was not permanent. It was not even paint or anything, its was slightly sticky tape

it was removed and the statue was wash, like it gets washed many times anyway, and the statue is back to its old self.

There is not problem here, only the one people have created by making a big deal about it.
