It's like Harvest Moon, sorta. I'll be picking that up along with Lost Winds. I think both are horribly overpriced.

Does anyone have any idea how long these are? FFCC looks like it has quite a bit to do (plus expensive and expandable content), but the rest I can't quite tell.

I may wait a bit to see what kind of reviews/info come out as well. I'd rather buy 3 NES games that I know and love before taking the gamble on something I never end up playing.

Have some perspective. $15 for a downloadable sim game, even from Square Enix, doesn't sound pleasing to me personally (not to mention they charge you just to add more races to your city or to give your friends bikinis, both absurdly superficial). Neither does $10 for a downloadable platformer thing from an indie developer. The platform is irrelevant, even if these are more expensive than the average PlayStation Network downloadable title. While I've already decided to buy them, they're gonna have to be really innovative or enjoyable for me to appreciate their price points, especially in the face of this absurdly weak platform launch. Nintendo's not even present at their own party.

It's the classic move that people always overlook;

Nintendo is always cheapest at the start. Then they nail you with all the extras and add-ons and before you know it you're wondering WTF happened to all your money. Oh but you can't call them on it, 'cause that's blasphemy apparently...

Actually, this was probably intentional. They probably wanted to give third party developers a bit of room to breathe. I mean, people are constantly criticizing Nintendo for their first party sales cannibalizing anyone else (See: No More Heroes), they figured that they could at least give try this one without it. Besides, it's not like Dr. Mario is that awesome (I still seriously do not get what people see in that game. It's like a tetris knockoff, but completely boring.)
