    Okami cover art fixed, made TOTALLY AWESOME.

    Okami Cover Artwork Redemption

    Also, this seems perfect for anyone with the PS2 version as well, since they don't seem to be asking for proof.

    I personally ordered both copies, and I'm going to make sure that I have a copy of Okami in my hands this weekend.

    The icons on Capcom's site are pretty small, so here's larger ones

    I'm glad it's coming to Wii. If I didn't already play through this game like 50,000 times, I'd buy it again.

      It's already out on Wii, like a week ago. This is to fix a problem with their cover art; it had a very noticeable IGN watermark right in the middle of it.


      But yeah, I'm really looking forward to this on the Wii. They toned down the paper filter; not every likes it, but I think that having the colors look more vibrant does much more for the world than making it look like a faded picture. Also, wiimote brush, just duh.

        I loved this game when it was on PS2... now....wow its better.

            It's not really laziness. You have to remember that the Wii port was handled by an outside studio, and CAPCOM didn't give them all of the original assets/resources for Okami; they had to do a lot of things from scratch. They probably had to take artwork off IGN because they couldn't find anything from what Capcom had given them. The watermark thing probably wasn't so much out of laziness as someone completely missing it (many people can't even see it when it's pointed out to them); anyone who knows even the basics of shooping could've removed it.

              CAPCOM didn't give them all of the original assets/resources for Okami
              I really don't think Ready At Dawn had anything to do with the publishing of the game. This is clearly laziness on CAPCOM's part.

                    I don't think there are any major additions to the game, but it does have things like 480p/Widescreen support, Wiimote for Brush, etc. It's also more vibrant (again; paper filter toned down; not everyone likes it but some so) and a few other things.

                      After playing the PS2 version, the Wii version was a bit hard to get used to. At first I didn't like using the Wiimote at all but after a while it grew on me. Still have some issues at times but its fun.

                        Updataru, Capcom has finally announced they're ready to ship these. Those of us who ordered more than one are going to have it reduced to a single cover, unfortunately; but they are also making the covers dual sided (art on one side, standard box on the other)


                        And since I think that everything should have a dual sided cover, that's pretty sweet. Expect emails this week, and shipping soon after.
