What video games do you own for Wii, PS3, and 360?

I'm getting kinda annoyed with the "Wii owners don't play games" argument, and I'm curious-- how many of the three consoles do you own, and what games do you own for each console? Additionally, how many games do you want (As in, if you had the money, you would buy it, not just consider it) for that console; and how many unreleased games are you looking forward to? Try to keep it similar to my format, so it's easier to read.

To clarify, there are a few games I'd probably buy if I already had a PS3, but at the price to buy a PS3, I'd rather spend it on a laptop; or just put the money into Wii games I'm unsure about but would like to have, and so on.

Feba you should get one they are cheaper then the 60GIG XBOX now (40GIG setup) and the 80 is only 40 more (at least in canada).

Pai youll prolly be in here, do you know what the stanford thing is thats on the ps3 now? Does that mean they can access my ps3 to preform cancer research while im not using it, cuz if so thats pretty wild (considering I live no where near there)

Eh, plenty of fun (and mature; see RE4) games on Wii. It is what you make of it.

I know perfectly well how much it would cost, and it's just not worth that much to me. There are Wii games I'd like to buy before I spend the money on a PS3, and there aren't any PS3 games that scream "get me". Additionally, I've been looking for a laptop, and the money would be much better put towards that.

Anyway, this is to talk about what games you have/want/are looking forward to for each console; not to talk about their quality or if they're worth buying, everyone is going to have different opinions on that.

I know this does not necessarily fit into what this thread is about, but I did not want to seem silly and make a thread specifically about what I am going to ask.

So, I was thinking of purchasing a Wii and I was wondering if you all believe it is a good investment. The last gaming system I purchased was Playstation 2, and that was years ago. Would you recommend one of the other systems over Wii to begin with?

Twilight Princess looks like it would be amazing, so that is another consideration I am looking at.

It's all dependent on what games you want to play. I personally find the Wii's selection the most interesting; there are some people who don't care for it. If you aren't sure, look up "Wii games" on wikipedia; they have a big long list of titles there you can go through, and see what you would want, and if that would be worth it to you. The same applies to the other consoles, of course.


Keeping the PS2 and buying used games is also an extremely strong option. The PS2 has a huge and very high quality selection, and used games are usually pretty cheap. If nothing else, it will keep you occupied until you find one of the consoles with a Killer App for you.

Of the current gen, I only have a Wii. The 360's belong to the siblings, but I am going to remedy that very, very soon. Once I find out how much my lumpectomy is going to cost, I'm going to see if I have enough to grab a 360. Soz.

This is the sad part. Not much of anything. If Force Unleashed let you play a female (last I heard it didn't) I'd look into getting it on Wii, maybe. But mostly it strikes me as just another SW game. I'd rather have a KotOR on 360. FFCC for the Wii is apparently not supporting created characters like the GC version either, so that's out for me. I want RPGs on this damn system. I don't care if it's just more old FF remakes. I'd get Monster Hunter 3, but I heard Nintendo's going to implement a new 'pay to play' for some of the Wi-Fi games, meaning MH3 is probably on that list, and while I like MH, it doesn't have the content to be worth paying for monthly. I'll wait for MHF3 on the PSP.

360: (all wants, don't own my own yet)

Oblivion: Game of the Year Edition (because fail licensing on content is fail if your 360 nukes. I already had to run my bros through the re-licensing, and what was supposed to take 3 weeks took 6 months. And they still didn't reactivate half of it properly.)

Don't own. Don't want to sink the money on it, as nothing out there is a 'must-have' for me. I'd like to get one, but that's money better spent elsewhere until there's a game that I just cannot live without. And there aren't many games that I just *have* to have, so I doubt I'll have one until near the next generation when it's cheap. :p But if I had one, I'll list wants:

FFXIII stuffs. All of it. Looks nice, not enough to make me buy the console, but if I had one, I'd get FFXIII

KH-whatever. 3? Gaiden? Whatever. I like KH, too. :p
