As long as you don't actually need a cheat code to pull it off. For example, I wouldn't consider using the tank + low gravity or whatever cheats in GTA3 to get to the second island early a game breaking trick; but I would consider being able to get into the airport early (in Vice City or San Andreas; can't remember) and then get a plane or helicopter pretty broken.

Let me take the time to say "lete river afk leveling" in FF6.

Also, on an emulator with the speed multiplied to silly high levels.

Not that I'd ever do that.

I'm especially not doing it right now.

Enjoy your severely weak characters toward endgame. The trick to power leveling in FF6 isn't the Lete river, it's careful choice of Espers to get the most efficient stat boosts.

Eh. That doesn't mean it isn't entertaining. I also don't intend to do any of the side quests, I just want to see through the main story.

In that case, I don't see the point in power leveling at all. You can easily enjoy the story without gaining a bunch of levels.

Because 30 minutes watching them go in a circle saves me a bunch of time in fights and deaths later on.

That's the cool thing about single player video games, you can play however you want to and it doesn't affect anyone but yourself. If Feba wants to duo the whole game with Relm and Gau then so be it.
