Though a bit short, this article is interesting none-the-less. Apparently someone thinks they're a badass by contacting EVE creators and touting in their faces that the code has been released. ThePirateBay, a database of torrent files apparently has the source code listed in their database.

Interesting. I'm extremely disappointed in CCP's response, though.

Would be interesting to see if someone got their hands on the server files and set up a private server. Especially considering the EVE world is randomly seeded, last I checked, so something given a number other than 42 could be entirely different.

Ya it seems their idea of content control is hitting whoever mentions it with the banstick. Some people are even speculating that CCP is seeding the torrent and cross-referencing leecher's IPs with IP addresses used on member accounts and taking action against those who download the torrent.
