Looks like more of Lenneth, so either some more backstory that didn't get in the first one, or followup on a lot of loose threads left by the end of that game that Silmeria didn't answer.

Serious amounts of loose ends in this game.

(like how VP1 just up and dropped the whole "What happened to Silmeria after the Demon Castle?" thing, and the extra story of some mysterious, shadowy villain that the vampire chick/witch/ghost/whatever mentioned)

Either way, more VP is always good.

It's about a man who has a vendetta against the Valkyries or something.

I don't like the isometric view, but I'm looking forward to it.

"Profile" kinda loses it's meaning if it's all isometric. Hopefully that's just for cutscenes... want more awesome platforming dungeons.

I loved the combo features of the original Valkyrie Profile. I never got to finish it right when I got to the point when they said you have a certain amount of time left to play. I hate it when games do that.

I couldn't finish ffx-2.....physically couldn't do it, it made me sick. LOL

My only concern for this game is that they don't make it "kiddified". By that I mean, some games (FF Tactics for one) for the DS were dummy downed and too easy. Yes, I still played it and it was fine but it wasn't WOW (not WoW, but WOW as in awesome lol). I realize that a lot of handheld games are aimed more for short snips of gameplay and such....especially on the DS. I would just like to see a more mature challenging VP game and not one aiming at snagging a younger audience.

GM, you have to think though that the audience is getting younger sadly. I mean look at how turned down VP2:L was on the PS2 compared to the original.

I still really liked Silmeria though. This though...I'm not sure. Something's off and unless they stick with the Valkyrie Profile tradition of ignoring all the tired RPG cliches, I don't think it'll be the same.
