  • 360 DLC Still Dead

So 4 months later, I got the call from XBL saying they'd finally verified everything, blah blah, and fixed the licenses on the DLC that was locked after we had to have our 360 replaced.

Guy tells me to go to Download History and simply hit 'Download Again' for anything that was once locked.

I've done that. For Oblivion. Not a single fucking shred of it works.

Do I need to delete the content then entirely redownload it, or have they fucked up yet again, and I need to call them back? Because if I do, I'm rather certain I'm going to have angry words with someone.

From what I've heard, getting all your downloads back on a new system is a nightmare. A lot of the time it seems to go smoothly...and a lot of the time not so much. There appears to be very little in the way of a standard in what customer service reps will tell you to do. If you keep calling them and pestering them, maybe they'll probably just end up refunding all your points so you can re-buy and re-download everything?

Fixed for a more accurate portrayal of Microsoft phone support.
