I can't seem to be able to connect and play with anyone Not sure why that is, my Wii can go online and get updates and surf the web and connect, however when waiting to connect to people it just drops out after a few minutes.

Argh this is a bit frustrating. Nintendo's website isn't very helpful in trying to figure this out.

A quick Google search on the 8xxxx error message reveals it's probably nothing more evil than network congestion on Nintendo's end - probably tons more demand than they were anticipating.

I dunno why. I thought it was you! lol
I finally fixed it (connecting to play people), however I had to stick DMZ on the Wii. Which is kinda weird.
And the lag was horrific.
1 to 1 match was pretty intense. I do suck with the pink marshmallow.

It wasn't a 8XXXX error. I just get dropped. I think it was something to do with having the UDP ports open, and it wasn't forwarding it. I really don't like using DMZ however I'm not sure what else I need to do to correct this. I did forward ports 1- 65535 UDP to my Wii, and I had to kick out my FFXI's ports on that one.

I'd like to fix my "lag" first. It sucks it even happens when I play with anyone, except last time I tested it just flat out disconnected me right when the match started. ARGH!

Yeah the disconnecting thing sucks, but its probably because the wii and the wiiconnect thing i use are in like 2 completely seperate rooms in the house lol.

Although its working a little better lately
