It'll be in stores on the 9th. Gamestop is having midnight launches and tournaments on Saturday night.

Lookin' forward to this so very much.

The Gamestop tournament official rules are looking pretty bad by the way. Timed matches, the local store-level tournaments will be only 1 minute long (there will be further tournaments pitting store winners against each other to determine regional winners, and so on.) Must use the controllers they provide, which I'm guessing will be Wiimote + Nunchuk. They'll use the game's Tournament Mode and whatever the game says goes. No word on items or stages but I have no doubt all items and stages will be on, which'll be a problem.

On the other hand, it appears to be totally free (save for any travelling expenses if you happen to win at your store and want to go on to the next tournament of course) so you don't really lose much. And as bad as it is, it's bound to be over quick, lol.

Are we certain that brawl doesn't have it's own code? I was kinda under the impression that it does.

From what I've been told, all you need to do is have friend codes registered. Within Brawl, you can also add friend codes to your list. Every Brawl player has their own specific Brawl profile name, so once friend codes are registered you must accept each person on your friend list as "Brawl Friends" or something.

From what I've read in Smashboards, it does have its own code.

Doesn't hurt to have the Wii #'s too though.
