It is kinda funny sneaking up on the snipers from behind when they're so focused on something else. It amazes me sometimes that I can do that in Halo especially given the motion detector.

But yeah, invisibile death from afar is so annoying! Especially if you can't make it to another long range weapon to try to counter them.

Not in Battlefield 2. Climb a tall building with only one way to access the sniping spot, and plant a claymore facing the ladder or whatever. The only way I keep dying is with Artillery called by the other side, or being sniped myself.

But yeah, invisibile death from afar is so annoying!

I think my favorite kill ever is from Socom 2 online on the PS2.

Some dude sniper was trying to get on top of some boxes by jumping on them, and kept failing. I was just watching through my scope. After his 3rd attempt, I helped him get on top of that box... though he wasn't alive when he finally did.
