  • WRB: SNES game Chrono Trigger.

Not sure if it is allowed on this site anymore but, I would really love this game.

I am a SNES and NES game collector and I have almost every single big hit SNES and NES game ever made. The only game missing from my collection is Super Metroid and Chrono Trigger. Super Metroid is not to difficult to hunt down so I am making this topic for only Chrono Trigger.

If anyone still owns the original SNES cartridge please tell me. I will make a great offer in price. ^_^

    Thanks.

I once found a copy in a local game store. It was in the store just a couple of hours, paid $80 for it, if I recall correctly...

Wow, 80$ for a copy of Chrono Trigger? They are half of that on Amazon and E-Bay lol.

But, if you aren't selling are you just posting to rub it in? >_<

No, I've since sold it to another one of my friends. We'd both played the ROM on our PC, love the game. I have a copy as part of Final Fantasy Chronicles, but he lost his copy some time back.

Re: WRB: SNES game Chrono Trigger.

FFC version blew because of the load times for battle transitions, good old Sony technology.

I didn't say I played it. It just makes the ROM I have on my computer for ZSNES legal

uhh...no roms are legal...unless you count my Wii virtual console. Copyrights last an awful long time...(well they might not catch you but still..)

Also I agree...the load times in the PSX version of Chrono Trigger make it close to unplayable. I couldn't beat Lavos[final form] on that version(atb) because there were nasty load time in between each of his moves that stopped me from acting fast enough.

ROMs are legal if you own the original cartridge.

If you consider it a back up, it's gray area. Although he should have a back up of the PS1 game, not the NES game.

Re: WRB: SNES game Chrono Trigger.

mostly I was referring to dowloads...if you can make your own rom it's legal but "intent to distribute" (A.K.A: posting roms for download) is pretty much against the law. (although I doubt the ROM police are looking for you)

but enough about that...I'd rather just comment on Chrono Trigger more if anyone else wants to go there XD
