    Rock Band racist?? .....wtf

    Ok, in the latest EGM mag there was a letter sent in that I'm sure most of you will get a chuckle out of. So here it is....

    "I don't agree with the target audience of Rock Band. African-Americans, Hispanic Americans, and any other people who don't like heavy metal and rock are purposely overlooked. Gamers come in all races and colors, and Rock Bands songs should reflect that. They left out many of the greatest artists of all time. Disco, jazz, r&b, hip-hop, latin, rap, and pop - where are they? My daughter asked me if the makers of this game were racist. Maybe you can answer her?"

    Wow....just wow....

    I officially love EGM for that answer alone.

    Seriously, people need to get the fuck over this racist thing. Everything is racist. They make up shit to be racist when nothing has been in a while just to start a shitfest.

                That's a perfectly good point there. In assuming that no one of another 'race' would like the game because of the music, she/he is being racist.

                  The person writing the letter is clearly the racist.

                  I lived in a ghetto with plenty of latin families around, and they like their rock music. I know, because they also like it loud.

                  As for black people, well, anyone who knows shit about rock should realize just how stupid that sounds.

                        Their reply made me very very happy. I love when people don't care about being polite and just say the truth (well, when it's not expected).

                        I don't get it, aren't they being racist for saying each race likes different genres? Maybe Rock Band hates the deaf too, because they made a game for only hearing people (<-- being sarcastic).
