No, not really. That statement itself is illogical-- it says "these people disagree on something, therefore it is not logical", when it has never been proven that those people are logical in the first place. Honestly, that comment hits me in the same way that "Teach The Controversy" does.
Feelings and opinions are very different things. Feelings should have nothing to do with voting, opinions should have everything to do with it. You can come to very different opinions through equally logical thoughts, but you cannot vote intelligently if you are guided by emotion.
Look at this thread. It's filled with logical people who share different beliefs about this particular case point.
It involves feelings and opinions.
