Xbox 360 keyboard

I was thinking about buying that keyboard that plugs into your xbox 360 controller for FFXI since it is kind of annoying to type with the joysticks. I was wondering approximately how much it costs and if it is really worth getting at all, or if there is a better alternative.

That KB does not work with FFXI, it only acts as sending messages through Live.

Actually that keyboard does work, but is missing a few keys you would normally use on FF, since its designed for messenger.

Its ok if your USB keyboard breaks as a short term replacement, but the lack of buttons is just to awkward for me.

Maybe who ever said that, theres didn't work rite. The only other problem i have with it, apart from missing a few keys, mainly Control Alt and / is that if its plugged in to my controler, it "turns" off my USB keyboard.

the USB keyboard is like a normal keyboard that plugs into the USB port i'm assuming, right? would that be better/easier than using the xbox controller and/or keyboard?

Yea, just get a USB keyboard, cheap and easy to get now a days. and plug it in to the USB slots on the front or back.
