Well, the Zapper is out, but there's more to the market than that.
So, let's look at a few samples.
The Official Wii Zapper accessory. Locks in your Wiimote and Nunchuck, and comes bundled with Link's Crossbow Training.
Personally, this looks very uncomfortable, mainly because the front and back handles seem very close. I haven't gotten to try one, though, unfortunately.
Prototype Zapper. Mostly the same as the one that made it to production. This looks a bit better, as long as you only have to operate the nunchuck buttons. Finger slot might be a bit small, though.
Third party accessory. I personally thinks this LOOKS the best, and would be the most fun to use, but there are two problems: games are sadly going to expect the Nunchuck, so you're going to have that dangling off (it has a passthrough port so you can still hook things in), and you can't operate the buttons on top. Hopefully someone will manage to reverse engineer and manufacture third party Wii controllers so someone can build a lightgun that has the needed buttons in reach of the thumb. If someone made a good one, I'd probably buy it just so I could do an re4 handgun run and look like a jackass.
