EBGames and Wings shipments

Ok, I'm getting worried. EBGames lists Wings as shipping tomorrow, which means the soonest I'd get it is Friday. 2 days late. Again. Missing out on a day and an evening of some new stuff.

Now, it could just be that they're stupid since they also still have it that the release date is unknown.

Either way, as this has been a quiet week I've had too much time to think about it, which lead to this.

I just called Game Stop a few minutes ago, and they said delayed till the 22nd.
Hold on. That's a national holiday. Are they even open on that day? *clenches fist & eyes twitch*

My GameStop (San Antonio, TX) said they'd have them in tomorrow.

I pre-ordered through Amazon weeks ago. It'd been listed as expected shipping today, arriving tomorrow all the way through under my order status. Now the site shows it as available on the 22nd. So I changed my shipping from overnight to free ground and back. This changed the expected shipping date to the 23rd and arrival to the 26th. So screw it, back to free shipping and I'll just wait. Or cancel the order if I happen to spot one in Best Buy or something.

Nope, which is why I saw a problem. Pre-order it so I'll have it on time for a 4 day weekend and I'm going to end up missing something like half my play time because some drooling idiot can't move boxes fast enough.

The GameStop by my work said they *think* they'll have it tomorrow. Best Buy was a no-go. I have tomorrow off at least so I can check the GS by home, but I'm going to be a grumpy bear if I have to go outside and go shopping on Friday.

try being in australia! EBgames and a few other stores haven't even heard of Wings of the Goddess and it's not on their computers at all... I'm just praying my friend can get our copies via Harvy Normans distrubitors like he did with ToAU.

not that I have SAM or NIN leveled yet anyway... only jusy got around to unlocking them and I'm guessing both will make great subs for dancer which I indend to take to 75.

on a side note my house mate choose this week to murder the download limit so now we're shaped and I can't get near the damn patch anyway... ; ;

I miss having unlimited downloads...

I was at GameStop this afternoon to pick up Unreal Tournament 3 and Rock Band. My copy of FFXI:WotG was not in; they checked and said it shipped today, and wouldn't be in stores until tomorrow (11/21/07).

Aww com'n. It was a joke. Did you honestly think I was being serious there? But you know there *are* those conspiracy nuts out there. I wasn't really mad or being serious there. I was just poking fun of the whole situation.
