Because the What Games Are You Buying thread needs a companion, I'll start these threads on Fridays. Friday because asking in the middle of a weekend would be awkward and not very representative, but asking right before the next weekend is.
Keep in mind that this is NOT TO TALK ABOUT WHAT YOU INTEND TO PLAY NEXT WEEK. This is to talk about what you DID play this week. You can comment on it if you like. Also, make a note if the game is free, because everyone like free shit.
For me...
Burnout 3: Takedown. A racing game, but with an emphasis on making your opponents crash, instead of outrunning them. I'd kinda like to complete this, and smashing your enemies into the wall is fun. Definitely worth the money I spent on it to get a used copy.
[FREE] The Battle for Wesnoth. A turn based strategy game, on a hexagonal grid. Open source, but plays nicely, and actually has half decent music and artwork.
[FREE] Armagetronad. Basically, an online Lightcycles game, but with many different ways of playing. I play this pretty much every week, so you will probably see a lot of it.
