Not this Grandma! I passed on H3. I've had enough of that game for now and am looking for something more innovative. Warhawk fills the void until something better comes along! ^^

I can recommend Guitar Hero III! I enjoyed the variety of songs, controls (don't mess with a good thing!) and the game as a whole! Of course, I use these games as get together games and rarely play it solo.

Stranglehold is another game I adored!! I played the PC version of the game. The interactive enviroments just made the game for me. Sliding down banisters, over tables, busting everything up, etc just really made it so much fun for me. I also rented the associated movie and I can tell you that its a B rated sub titled action flick that isn't very polished. So if you don't like that type of movie then pass it up but I didn't mind it.

While I did enjoy Viva Pinata, I'm not going to invest in the new sequel. I've heard its very simplistic to snare in younger players.

Naruto: Rise of the Ninja is one I just might rent first and possibly buy. Both my son and I are looking forward to that one.

Manhunt 2 is probably a buy but I'm hoping that the original full gore version will be released in some manner. That is the one I would prefer to get even if its not the NA version.

Disgaea is the same old same old. They tweaked it a bit by adding some fluff but not enough to make it totally fresh if you've played the PS2 version. I totally new version is what I was hoping for but this is what the PSP suffers from....ports. I've played it but I'll wait a couple of months and buy it used.

interesting, I didn't think Manhunt 2 was coming out so quickly.

Anyway, I'm hoping to pick up Zack and Wiki and Mercury Meltdown Revolution this week. I'm considering selling all my last gen consoles and games, since I'm probably never going to play them again.

TGM! You play Warhawk??? What's your PSN handle? :O I'll need to shoot you out of the sky some day. PiNG plays too. I just hit Commander rank the other day. I feel proud of myself, but I'm still terrible in a warhawk. I blast off and within 5 seconds my corpse is tossed out of a missile-wridden explosion.

I'm actually not picking up any of the titles this week. Next week I have Rock Band and SingStar coming to me, however.

I might pick up Disgaea for PSP at some point, but I've barely even scratched Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, and I still need to finish Dewy's Adventure for Wii. Then there's Challenge mode on Ratchet and Clank, more deck-tweaking with The Eye of Judgment, and still have to get around to finishing various and sundry other games...

This winter is great - easily the best crop of holiday games to come along in years. I can pass on a bunch of good games and still have too much to buy!

Are you importing SingStar? I heard it was delayed last minute to December in Europe, but still shipped to a few select areas.

War of the Lions is an updated port, with a few more scenes, battles, etc. as well as ties to FFXII. I think Balthier's a playable character in it. It's also got local multiplayer.
