I'd love to get Castlevania for sure.

Ratchet and Clank as well, but not so sure, I haven't enjoyed many of their newer games recently, but I'll prolly at least rent this one.

So far, I have to admit it's better than even Going Commando, which is tough to beat in my book. I'm still only about an hour and a half in, but I can already feel it's definitely the best in the series. The production values are through the roof, and the return to a proper mix of action and platforming perfects the franchise.

Definitely give it a rent least. The game supposedly lasts a good 12-15 hours, so it's worth buying if you're a big fan of the series like myself and can see yourself playing through multiple times more in Challenge Mode.

Also, screw Phoenix Wright.

I order you to buy Zack & Wiki. Least gimmicky but awesome use of Wiimote in a game so far. It's the kind of treasure that's going to bomb horribly, so I'm gonna go ahead and recommend it to everyone. If you own a Wii and don't buy this game, no one will ever love you.

Hmm that sounds pretty good, coming from you. And Going Commando was easily my favorite of the series, looks like I'll actually have to go pick this one up. @_@

If anyone's getting Ace Combat 6, please let me know how it is. ; ; Timed 360 exclusivity is sad, but I want it badly so it might end up on my list of games to pick up with the console later in the year, or just force my roommate to buy it now.

I have Eye of Judgment and Ratchet waiting for me at Gamestop by tomorrow afternoon. Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles will probably be a pickup at some point, too, as I'm a sucker for the series.

Zack and Wiki I'd buy but I worry about replayability - that and the art style and the lack of voice acting are really at odds with one another.

Icemage, let me know how Eye of Judgment is. I haven't played Magic the Gathering in years, but if it's fun I might check it out. It's a pretty darn good deal.

I've always loved card games, but I no longer like buying cards. I must have spent a good couple thousand on YGO a few years ago, I still have the cards. I should sell them or something. Still, huge waste of cash.

I like the look of those little figurine games, I got a Warhammer set for a couple hundred once, but I suck at models so I never actually built any ;_; lot of good that did me.

When they start releasing palm-size fighting robots/androids, I'll definitely get conned into spending a lot on them, though. Especially if they can talk to me and convince me they're my only real friends.

I can't possibly be the only person who finds the idea of collecting a bunch of armor and weapons and such on tiny little robots and then watching them fight each other insanely cool.

Not to mention they could be pretty useful. They could serve as clocks, calendars, note takers, pretty much anything a PDA could do, and do it portably, not to mention it would actually NAG YOU TO TAKE IT ALONG WITH YOU, so that you don't wind up leaving it at home all the time. And think of the games you could play with it. Apart from the whole "make them fight each other thing", you could also just have fun dressing it up in different types of armor, it could have various games programmed in too, or even better allow people to program new games for it. You could have one that would quiz you, both on trivia or on things you actually need to study for tests and such. You could program it to tell jokes, wake you up at a certain time. You could even buy it little cars and planes and stuff.

Man, if someone came out with something like that I probably wouldn't even have time for video games anymore, and that's saying a lot.

The only one on that list I'd really be interested in is Castlevania, but I haven't bought one of those games since the N64 days so I doubt I'd bother now.

But I do think we need a thread like this every week or something. :p
