I'm picking up Ratchet & Clank tomorrow before work so I can spend the whole day at work emo wanting to go play it.

Pai: You don't know how hard I had to restrain myself from sending you hate mail yesterday when I saw you playing R&C! I had to go play Warhawk during the maint instead!

I'm geeked about Assasine's Creed and Uncharted. I haven't played a Naughty Dog game in years, I'm excited about this one. I think it looks amazing.

I trust Insomniac to make a great game, it's the makers of the PSP game I don't trust. I really disliked that game, and I'm scared they're going to destroy ruin Secret Agent Clank if it's indeed a PSP title.

I was a lazy-butt yesterday...I ended up playing Ratchet all day after I got out of class. I think the last time I did that with a game was back when the first one came out 6 years ago!

It seems SCEA horribly undershipped THE EYE OF JUDGMENT. Rumours abound that the game shipped less than 4 units, and that seems likely as I can't find it ANYWHERE.

Probably just Sony being cautious as this game is practically the definition of niche, but hopefully the moderate response to the initial shipment means they'll be quick to ship out more packages. Since the booster packs don't ship until next week, they probably wanted the initial shipment pretty low.

FFT suffers some pretty bad slow-down during spell and ability animations. I heard it's a non-issue for the new Slim-line PSP though.

All the sources I've checked say the same. I only got mine so early because I've had it on pre-order for three months, and the guys at GameStop love me because I pre-order everything - we're on a first name basis at this point.

Booster packs are arriving in small quantities now. I got a call from GameStop today (see above comment about them giving me much consideration ) informing me they just cracked open their shipment and found some EoJ booster boxes, so I'll be grabbing some tomorrow.

First impression of the game, with the limited number of cards I have in the starter pack + 1 booster, is that the game is really good. Almost Magic: The Gathering good as far as gameplay goes, maybe even slightly better. The gameplay is fast, and momentum shifts are frequent. It's very exciting to play, and the animations on-screen are spot-on and tasteful. The PS Eye is pretty good at picking out the cards you're playing; what I found was that you needed a pretty good light source to make sure the cards were readable.

How've you not unlocked Onion Knight yet? >_>;; I have it unlocked and I'm in chapter one. :x My highest level is 22, but still, I got Onion pretty quickly.

Btw it only requires squire/chemist at 8 iirc. At least that's the only reason I know I have it already.

Thanks for the EOJ impressions, Icemage. Saw you playing today and I was curious about how I'd like it. It's been forever since I had my hands on Magic the Gathering, but I think it could be a neat thing to try out. If the gameplay is solid, I think it'll be worth giving a look.
