A little late, but yeah, they can. As feba pointed out, they've been doing it for years. I'm not entirely sure how international courts and international copyrights work, but China seems to always get away with it. I think they just do it to piss off Japan. And as omni pointed out, the only ones with rights are the Politburo.

It's just hard not to these days. With a work force that will do anything and probably just as good but lots cheaper. You'd be hard pressed to find a businessman that would pass up cutting labor costs in half.

Even the most TaiDu* of governments Taiwan has ever and will ever see has opened more business relations with China. That's how alluring China is in terms of business.

*TaiDu is political thought that taiwan is not apart of china and that taiwanese people and chinese people are 2 distinct people now. (this is the short version of it) it also incorporates much anti-china sentiment along with it as well.
