This year's Games Convention in Liepzig, Germany kicks off on Wednesday. Microsoft and Sony will be there in full force and Nintendo will have some presence, and this year's show promises to be much, much larger than E3 ever was.
Microsoft will be present with their big titles for this year and next like Bioshock, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Too Human, Halo 3 and Mass Effect. Sony's presence is the biggest this year, showing their Fall 2007 lineup in Warhawk, Lair, Heavenly Sword, THE EYE OF JUDGEMENT, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune among others.
Konami and Hideo Kojima will be present once again, hopefully with more content on Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Online. Square Enix is holding off their big guns for TGS next month, but will still be showing off a few games.
Sony kicks off the show Wednesday morning with a breakfast conference, and has promised to have new announcements, with the PS3's HDTV Tuner functionality revealed and, rumoured heavily, the new rumble-enabled SIXAXIS controller.
Stay tuned for updates and discussion.
