As opposed to Sony who's in this for charity? The PlayStation 3 is the first Sony console to not have launch problems. The PlayStation and the PlayStation 2 had reliability problems of their own at launch, and Sony was fortunate that the internet didn't have our modern day sensationalist gaming news styled reporting as featured on sites like Kotaku back then. Nevermind the millions of Sony batteries that have had to be recalled. Nevermind their ridiculous DRM that used to be on CDs under their music labels. Nevermind the Vaio laptops last year that shipped with defective motherboards that had warranty extended to 24 months. Yeah, Sony's got a great track record.

We get it. The Xbox 360 has some problems. But this "Microsoft only cares about money" crap is stupid. Sorry, but the shareholders at Sony don't give a crap about your gaming experience anymore than the shareholders at Nintendo, or the shareholders at Microsoft. They're only interested in seeing their stock split and their wallets double in size. Buy your consoles and enjoy the games, and leave it at that.

sorry but even though I would like to try out Blue Dragon(looks like a great RPG) all those red rings you're talking about turned me away from the 360...that and about 90% of the so-called exclusives will are or will be available for PC....not that I really like Microsoft....

I'll be playing cross-platform stuff and saving up for a gaming PC...that I have more plans than games for all that high-end hardware...(Mega video capture anyone?)

Blue Dragon isn't looking to be the "uber rpg" as all the hype says.

The big RPG for 360 is going to be Eternal Sonata (Also, see Bioshock and Mass Effect)

Bioshock = PC edition in the works

Mass Effect- if I know Bioware the PC edition of this is already on the drawing board...

Eternal Sonata looks interesting but it's not something I'd get a 360 for...same with Blue Dragon....

Mostly I want to try Blue Dragon to see what the best JP talent MS can buy off can do. I'm not really much for hype...but I would like to try out the game someday....

All those red rings of death and thousands of system failures really make the Xbox360 seem like the worst piece of junk on the market right now to me. I have a PS3 and I will have a gaming PC so I will not miss much this gen. I may have to get the ever messed up Vista(Vista= Win ME so far) for some stuff but I guess that's the price I pay for avoiding things I think are basically junkyard scrap....

Er, Bioshock ships on PC the same day as 360 version. There is a high chance of the cryogenically frozen PS3 version shipping next year, however, especially with the game already getting so much praise.

As for the 360's problems, it's because morons put their damn 360's in a glass entertainment center box, and run it 24/7, you expect it to not overheat? I also laughed at the PS3 Freezer test, this would actually make any electronic equipment run better, not kill it off (but, as they stated, they did have mostiure problems, which will happen, esp, going from 50degrees to 0 degrees.

Fanboy websites make me laugh. I once left a game on for 36 hours in my 360, no noise comming from it, and keep in mind, I've had the SAME 360 (Transported over several locations in 2 years) since lauch day, not a single problem with mine. But then again, I don't store mine in an oven either.

This made me laugh: "In a standard living room, the PS3 was perfectly fine except for a strange noise coming from the disc tray after 12 hours. Nothing surprising there!"

Only after a half a day does "strange noises" come from their ps3. Fanboy websites make me laugh.
