Or are the genders of most Pokemon in Diamond and Pearl nearly impossible to differentiate on most Pokemon by sprite alone? As in, the two genders on most Pokemon look almost exactly the same?
Example, everybody knows that Pikachu now have notched tails if they're female, and according to the serebii.net pokedex, male Raichu apparently have sharper tail tips than thier female counterparts.
But (also according to the serebii.net pokedex) Pichu, Gardevoir, Clefable, Vulpix (my personal favorite), and countless others are, as far as I understand, impossible to differentiate by sprite alone.
Anybody who has D&P and/or PBR wanna discuss this? Particularly if you have PBR, as the 3D could possibly help show any differences that sprites can't.
