Well congrats; you ran off the Teen Wolf, Mr. Grumpy.

His make-up was starting to look like a pancaked turd anyway. So, Famfrit is here again. Take me back! Don't be like this, baby!

No, this is Mr. Grumpy. That's just an impostor.

Man, I used to love those books. This was my favorite though.

Ya, I wonder how they're going to destroy that memory with a horrible live action movie.

              Off topic, yes. Quick clarifications:

Actually, alcohol can be both psychological and chemical/physical. It starts as a psychological addiction after tolerance begins to build. Upon the increase and continued use of alcohol, a physical/chemical dependence occurs.

True fact, cocaine isn't believed to be physically addictive, but is incredibly addictive psychologically.

On topic; I think I agree with the general consensus of this topic that while video games probably aren't (very) chemically addictive, they can be quite habit forming. I think anything has the potential to be habit forming: FFXI, TV, sports, hobbies, these forums, etc, etc. Though habits may be hard to break sometimes, I hardly think they are some physical addiction in which the person needs therapy.

I'm sure it will involve Mike Meyers under 300 lbs. of makeup.

I don't care about that so-called official Mr. Grumpy. My own special Mr. Grumpy is far closer to my heart. :3

Re: Video Games as addictive as heroin?

Hello Dreams in Vana'diel community. This is Hantz's wife. I've logged into his account to bring you all a sad update.

Recently, Hantz had been buying up old NES games anywhere he could find them: shady websites, from friends, or even right out on the street. I tried to warn him of the dangers, but he wouldn't hear it.

On June 25, 2007, Hantz put his newly acquired pack, "The Adventures of Dino Rikki," into his NES deck, and took in a deadly amount of gameplay. He thought he could play in a burnout session like he used to in his NES heyday, but he didn't think to take into account that he hadn't played NES in months, and his tolerance had dropped.

He died in the living room, a sad and ironic "Game Over" screen flashing away in the background. Thank you all for giving him support over the years to stay off the NES. You all helped him fight the good fight, but in the end, Hantz thought only of himself.

                      As it should be.

Personally, I'm trying to get an old/uncommon computer collection going. I expect to be killed when a giant pile of it falls on me.

I just remembered that I have access to a like new NES. I just need to get it out of storage and find more games for it.

I shouldn't have posted that. I'm getting nostalgic about my collection of 200+ games, that was stolen by one of my "friends" never to be seen again. I have about 30 games in my once-proud collection.

                          Shit, am I getting pissed!

Just curious, Mhurron, does any of my inane babbling ever get a chuckle out of you? I feel like Shemp to your Moe.
