Re: Yoichi Wada calls the PS3 and 360 pieces of crap.
yep, Nintendo at least makes a profit, and while I'm not sure about every console ever like Manatra claims, it wouldn't surprise me at all.
Sure it is. Do you really think that the problem is Sony not selling games? I'm sure the 600$ price tag is much more inhibiting than a 60$ game.
Of course, the games are a problem too. Right now, the PS3 doesn't really have any games that will scream to EVERYONE "PLAY ME!". Sure, resistance looks pretty, but good luck getting your mom to play it. Sure, Little Big Planet looks fun, but how many NASCAR loving red necks are going to be the least bit interested in it?
Look at Wii Sports, sure it's a pack-in title, but if you look at Japan it's also the most popular without that advantage. Why? Because EVERYONE can pick it up and have fun with it. EGM did a segment on what happens if you take a Wii to a retirement home, even grandpa and grandma wanted to get in on it.
Nintendo has a definite advantage in that playing it LOOKS fun, on top of being fun.

That's not even a fair assessment though.
