This suit is not going to help much if not, anything. Lets compare RMT to drug trafficking (sp?) and drug abuse.

Drug abuse has been battled against by the government (especially from Britain and America) for years.

It's Illegal and is considered a federal offense, they do raids Daily to combat drug trafficking, they spend billions of dollars to tutor and teach kids that it is awful, they spend millions of dollars to keep them out of school, and are very relentless about it (a small bag of MJ can send you to prison for years if you are old enough)

But despite all this, Drug abuse is one of the top problems in America and many other countries today.
Why? Because as long as Drugs are easily grown from the ground and or easily accessible by daily cleaning chemicals, and there are people who want/need them, they will continue to be traffickec(sp?), smuggles, used, and abused my millions of people world wide.

Same thing with RMT...Who cares if this Suit makes it illegal and starts a chain of suits against various companies like IGE? who cares if America declares it a federal offense (highly unlikely)?

As long as their is people to mine the gil and there are people to buy the gil, RMT companies will always exist.

If they get an injunction against online commerce enablers like paypal and the companies that provide the service of processing the credit card transactions, then it won't matter that there's a supply and a demand. What're you going to do? Mail a check to China?

All of you stop it. I don't like handing out warnings especially as much as I have been lately, but if this keeps going I'm going to start. If you see a post by another user that you feel is in appropriate, off topic, offensive or a personal attack, hit the button, explain why you're reporting the post, submit it and then don't reply. This childish "no you stop" fight accomplishes nothing of value.
