*shrug* I guess I'm the only one that as soon as they got home from highschool, they didn't want to think about it till they were there the next day.
I can understand it being an interesting map, but for my above reason I wouldn't make a map to look like it. It would kind of be like the office level with longer hallways with no wall extensions to hide behind, one set of really large stairs, a large open cafe'... infact my highschool was pretty open now that I think about it. O_o

I was homeschooled, so I didn't go to a high school, but the one I would've gone to looks pretty interesting from what i've seen. Large open cafeteria, huge gym, down the way a rather impressive theatre. Also tons of little recessed doorways, back stairways, would've made a fairly interesting map. I hear ya on not wanting to think about it though.

Eh, still it's the old generation finding any excuse they can. Heaven forbid though that they admit it's their generations parenting abilities to blame.

This is it, plain and simple, however all those people will never take responsability for their actions and the consequences. They are coward like that.

They can blame everyone else all they want, but if anyone wants to look for the origens of all the "evil" in this world that's the place to start.

Ofcourse, because moving a mouse or a stick on a control pad is oh so like shooting a real gun with real recoil.
Seriously, have the idiots that say video games teach kids how to shoot even shot a gun for themselves? If shooting a gun was as easy a it is in video games, we'd all be super human snipers and the like.

As for making a FPS map of your high school, in this day and age I can see the concern, but without a doubt that was a HUGE overreaction. I can also see the innocent fun in playing a FPS with friends on a map of a building you all know in RL.
