  • Orchestral soundtracks?

I downloaded *cough* a Gyakuten Saiban (Ace Attorney here in the states) OST that was done with an orchestra... and I really like the sound of it. Obviously FF music has been covered by orchestras before (I've been to dear friends, it was awesome), but does anyone know of any other video games (specifically from anything older than the dreamcast) that have had their soundtracks covered in an orchestral version... that can actually be found for purchase?

Not older then the dreamcast, and was orchestral in the game itself, but the Xenogears and Xenosaga soundtracks were well done.

I likeded the Chrono Cross soundtrack as well.

I mean game songs that were originally in MIDI beeps and squeaks, performed by an orchestra. Not ones that feature an orchestra in game, that's fairly common.

Well, I don't know if this helps, but I went to a Video Games Live concert. They played music from Metal Gear Solid to Donkey Kong, from Medal Of Honor to Tetris. Maybe they have an album out?
