Meh, I only go for the games that you can't really find anymore on the non trade in stores. Espically for old systems. Though, Gamestop, at least the one where I live has the worst selection in new and preowned games compared the the EB Games down stairs in the same mall =x Though >_>; ordering online has been more favorable for me when it comes to new ones if i don't feel like renting from blockbuster.

I don't object to used games sales, I object to exploiting consumers. Like I said, there's some places near where I live that actually pay fair prices for games and sell them back for fair prices (well, mostly, they charge 60$ for FF8 for god knows what reason)

Getting 3$ for a VHS tape they're going to sell for 10$ doesn't seem too unfair to me, the store's entire stock is used and that's where they get their profit. On the other hand, I very clearly remember when I traded in my playstation at EBgamestop, that there was a certain game (Doom I believe) that I got about $.80 for. Eighty Cents. I went back later that same day, and they had it on their shelves for $15.00. Tell me that isn't exploiting your customers.

I don't think that used video games really hurt developers, most used games aren't on shelves anymore anyway.
