I saw that the other day. It's pretty cool if you're a collector, I suppose, but really, are most of those games even worth owning?

At that price, I doubt he'll actually get any bids. He'll probably have to break the collection up eventually.

yeah, thinking about it, the math seems off. it works out to about $20 per game overall. there's about 10-15 games on there that I'd pay that much for. though, the fact that he has all the boxes and documentation for them is pretty impressive.

I don't even know what you'd want to collect all those, it'd take up so much space and it's not really that great to have the boxes/manuals for them. Not to mention $15,000 is way over priced for something like that!

I'd rather just fit all the ROM's on a DVD and play it in my PS2.

Holy moly. I thought my sister's store had lots of SNES games, but this takes the cake. Whoever buys it has more money than brains.

Some games go for decent money, but most of them don't. Final Fantasy 6 (FF3 on the cart) goes for about $50 these days. Earthbound with box and Players guide is like $100. Most are much cheaper. You'd have to pay me to take half of them (John Madden 93-98 for example)

The value of the lot isn't even $9000, there is no way he'll get $15k.

On topic: That is a lot of money spent on those games. I am sure not all of them were bought when they first came out but I am sure a lot were.

Can you play the Super Scope 6 games w/o the Super Scope 6?
