There sure are a lot of games coming out this month, like every March.

What's on everyone's shopping list this month?

Motostorm (PS3) - March 6th
Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 (360) - March 6th
God of War II (PS2) - March 13th
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (PS3) - March 20th
Armored Core 4 (PS3) - March 20th


I had Mario Party 8 preordered, but apparently that was delayed, blah. The world needs Wii games, for cryin' out loud!

I am a huge Nintendo fan, however...

Mario Party is a disease. It infects all it comes in contact with and corrodes their will to the point they'll buy the next one no matter how underwhelming it is. Hal Labratories should just make more Kirby games instead, I'd really appreciate that.

MotorStorm is HOT, though. Very hot.

The rest... meh. But... lolBethesda. Another rushed port full of bugs, you can count on that. I'd only ever get an ES game used or out of the bargain bin, Bethesda lost my respect with their customer service in regards to Xbox and Morrowind. Everyone that got the original release for Xbox deserved a free copy of the Game of the Year edition, it was that poorly coded.

I've never actually purchased a Mario Party game before. The first one was great but it suffered from sequelitis after that. Very few of the ones afterward were very appealing to me.

I think the new one will be worth buying though, just because the WiiMote should give it a breath of fresh air.

As for Oblivion, I would have bought it with my 360 if I hadn't heard so much about the bugs. Thankfully from what I've read in previews and whatnot, they've taken the extra development time on the PS3 version to fix that, as well as spruce up some of the detail.

My Mario Party 5 and 6 discs do not work anymore. My gf and I would play on the weekends when we didn't feel like going out. I would grab some beer and she some wine and have ourselves night of entertainment.

When is Kill Zone coming out for PS3?

As for Oblivion, I would have bought it with my 360 if I hadn't heard so much about the bugs. Thankfully from what I've read in previews and whatnot, they've taken the extra development time on the PS3 version to fix that, as well as spruce up some of the detail.

They might say issues are addressed and things are smoothed over, but this is Bethesda we're talking here, they lie about that sort of thing. There will be new bugs and lots of old ones. Unless you can download updates and patches for this version, I'd put no faith in it whatsoever.

Bethesda has a huge history of buggy games. I was actually excited about Star Trek: Tactical Assault for DS and PSP until I heard they were involved with it.

My copy of Motorstorm (PS3) is already pre-ordered and paid for.

Need to buy God of War II, too. Gah! All these new toys! Not enough time to play them! I hate you Sony (not! )

In all seriousness, I'm not really sure. I might grab some stuff for my DS, which I've been neglecting for games. Money is a bit tight though. (1/2 way through college without a loan, like to make it the whole way)

Killzone won't be released until "the later half of 2007," according to Sony. That and Ratchet and Clank will probably be their two big first/second-party holiday releases, as we know Resistance 2 and God of War III won't be out until at least the end of 2008.

As for God of War II, I'd recommend preordering that, Icemage. It's already hit 1,000,000 preorders so finding it in-store without one is gonna be tricky.

And we're definitely gonna have to place some Motorstorm together. What's your PSN ID?

Well I finally got FFXII on 1st March, and must admit I am imediately hooked and spent most of the weekend playing it. No other game tickles my fancy at the moment other than this one. Next purchase will be Spore when it is finally released.

Motor Storm seems like a game that could be major fun in multiplayer, but I'm a GT guy all the way.


(Then again the really bad side effect of playting GT that I forgot about was the actual need to do some Drifting while driving in RL ><; )
