Any avid WH40k: Dawn of War player has to have felt a little tingly upon completion of the Dark Crusade expansion's ending, featuring a short teasure involving a bunch of planets at war with eachother. The first thing that came to mind when I saw that was "40k MMO!?"
Unfortunately it apparently had nothing to do with a Warhammer 40k MMO, but that's only because one was just announced and Relic isn't working on it. THQ and Games Workshop just announced that a new MMO based on the Warhammer 40,000 universe is currently in development.
That's all the details that are out for now though, but consider me excited. EVE Online is the only sci-fi MMO that's ever left any sort of impression on me, so hopefully this'll be a contender in the market. I'm itching bad for a good sci-fi MMO and having a good 40k MMO could just make things even better.
