    Re: Ff3!!!

I love it. Musics are very true to the original, NPC Dialogue are so well done. Beautiful remake.

Friendly NPC is pretty cool now that they can participate in battles. But they take a little extra time for the game to load them up being a little draw back.

Bosses feel so much more like boss now. They are a lot harder. You'll acutally need to grind many parts of the games just to beat some bosses.

Normal enemies get easier (can only appear 3? 4? instead of 8 like NES)

              Re: Ff3!!!

Almost at the end of the game. Just got my last set of jobs. This game was so good to me that i didn't even look at ff12 all weekend. I wish they'd bring back the ff3,ff5, FFT, job system. Well the Job system in general. Thf's ftw I've taken my thf, warrior, whm, and blm all the way to the end of the game. Think I'm gonna finish it out that way for nostalgia's sake.

I just got my first new set of jobs and....Geomancer ftw! I don't even like them, but I thought I'd give it a go and they're ridiculously overpowered for when you get them. Other than that I left all the basic jobs I'm looking forward to checking out Black Belt and Dragoon...gonna keep playing when I get home :3

I'm having fun with my Magus & Devout right now, & my warrior is in his 80's now I think. Mwuahaha. Oh, & I also went to the boss of the game on accident thinking I was doing a side quest thing. *dies*

                    Re: Ff3!!!

Onion Knight (the Original default class in the original FF3) is in the game somewhere. I read it has to do with the Wifi message thing and needing to send like 7 messages total to unlock the quest or something like that.

The best part about this game is that you don't have to switch out to the extra job if you don't want too. There just that, Extra. Warrior Advance technique is so deliciously awsome haha. Warrior with 2 axes ftw! and my Thf raking in redicuouslt 30 hit attacks. God i luv this game. I think i'm gonna switch my warrior to ninja, thief to blackbelt, Blm to Magus, and whm to Devout after i get those to 99.

How do you get the Knight to actually defend the other characters. I have yet too have him defend another character in critical.

                            Re: Ff3!!!

For a hand held it's really good. The are classes dumb-downed one could say. Each class has a primary move that increases in skill as the job lvls. Job lvls also help increase the effectiveness of your attacks, magic, number of hits etc. Your character lvl increaseses your primary stats HP and MP. Devout with job lvl 99 at lvl 40 will still have just as many casts at each lvl as a Devout at job lvl1 at lvl 40. The job lvl 1's casts will be horrible compared to the 99 though, but job lvls go up quick. It takes 6 actions to increase a job lvl. So you just guard 6 times in a fight with all your characters and they will all get job lvls. When I say dumbed down it's because each job only really brings one ability to the playing field. Vikings have provoke, warriors have advance, mnks have retaliate, blackbelt has focus, etc. So don't except a monk to have focus, chi blast, chakra, etc.

The story is an Upgrade to the original story of FFIII. It's very simple, but the characters are very memorable regardless. The characters are more potrayed in there poses and actions rather than direct story. I kind of like it this way though, beacuse makes it feel more like the game it used to be rather than some book with RPG elements that FF has become.
