I'm...really excited about PSU myself, I have an anime convention this upcoming weekend(Oni-con), and then when I get back, PSU will be at my house in a few days, I can't wait! @_@ But I was wondering if anyone here will be playing PSU? I'll still be playing XI of course, but I shall at least take a small break for PSU, and if anyone is playing, would you want to meet up and play together? A good rl friend of mine will be playing with me, so it'd be cool to get another person on top of that, or more :D

Is PSU only coming on the 360? if so sad...I placed PSO on gamecube but the internet adaptor never came state side i don't think...wanted one but never found one. PSO was a fun game i liked the game....its different.

After playing PSO on Dreamcast v1,2 and on Gamecube, I dont think ill be breaking my (un)creatively named character's Vicky, Victor, Victoria, and Vicious back out for the release. Nor will I be bringing back Really Really Big Bot (R.R.B.B)

i was a huge fan of PSO for dreamcast and GC and i plyed both online.....
I really want PSU but im unsure if when i get it ill be playing online....
And what really disapoints me is that you cant costamize your character if youre only playing offline(that is still the case right?)
but even so im still excited about the game...I like pie........no seriously.. i do.

I got a chance to download the beta on xboxlive over the weekend. I would have liked an instruction book to go along with it, cuz i was never really sure what i was doing. I got to level5, but it seemed like i really couldnt do much in battle, i mainly ran around and hit the "A" button. I also dont understand why i had to be right next to a NPC/PC just to target them ?sigpicComment

I played the beta and I didn't enjoy it all that much.

Ack...just reading this after the weekend has killed my excitement. ._.; Well I've already ordered it, so I'm getting it either way...just makes me wonder why magazines are looking up to it while other people are saying it's worse...usually people like it and magazines are criticzing it. @_@ Well I'm still excited and I'm gonna be sad if it sucks...hopefully they fixed stuff from the beta or something ; ;
On another note, I never played PSO online, just tons and tons of offline, so I won't be able to compare, and it seems to me that there's no way for PSO to be more polished just from the screenshots. >_> But just give me 2 days to get the game and I'll post what I think at least.

I have the PC version of PSU JP, I beat single player in 20 hours. It was so easy, extra mode is way too easy as well because your character is super. Online mode is the only thing thats not hard in the game.

Yes please post some! :D And what do you think about online? Seeing as you have some good experience with the game, do you think it's better than PSO, equal, less(;
? Just curious on your opinions I suppose as I wait to get the game, lol.

well, its better than PSO, but it doesn't have the PSO feel to it. I didn't get really far online on it (level 13). I'll post some pics in 5 min (I need to upload them to photobucket) *S rank weapon spoilers*

Those swords in the last picture are pretty cool XD But you've just made me excited again now, lol -_- I'm going to be playing with 3 of my RL friends now, so we should have a full party (4 people is the max, right?) and can't wait to start up and create my character...that's one of my favorite parts, lol

4 people is the max offline, and 6 online what version are you getting? I'm going to stick with the JP version (unless you can change the VAs to Japanese )

I'm gonna be getting the U.S. version, for PC...and I was reading up on it today, and it looks like you can only play on certain servers; Xbox 360 plays with 360 only, but they also play with JP players on 360. While PS2 and PC players play together, but NA and JP players can't play on the same server.
That kind of sucks, but yea I'm getting the english version...too bad we can't play together >_<
