The only way I know of so far is through the Collector's edition (which gives you 10 days I think) and through Del Taco, which gives you 24 hours, but you can apply the code up to 5 times, so it gives you 5 days. You need to order a combo with macho size cup to get the code.
I have the collector's edition, so I can give out 3 keys. I think all my friends that are playing are already playing, but I'm probably going to hang on to atleast 1 extra trial key. so I have 2 to give out. (Taskmage gets one, if you want one Dak, just ask.)Hacked on 9/9/09

I've heard pretty good impressions of this one so far, might check it out later in the year when I have a PC worth a damn. The "everyone's a captain" thing aside, it seems they've stayed rather true to the Trek universe, right up to keeping it in-like with the events of the recent movie's impact on the post-TNG universe. Very impressive.

I want to say the offer said $250....or near that.

The only thing I was missing from playing STO is the sound of turbolift doors opening and closing. Other than that, when you get a /tell, you hear the combadge noise. Phasers, warping... all spot on.
The music too. Sometimes, it just sounds so epic. I mean even when I'm flying around scanning anomolies. It sounded so dramatic. I noted that when me and my friend were running a episode together.
