some players kited a hnm in one of the major wow cities. it litteraly killed everything in its path, blizzard had to restart the servers, and the players got baned.

Because the world is seamless in WoW, something like this is possible, and happens more often than you might think. I can't recall all the times that someone dragged this one tough mob into Goldshire (newbie human village) just for fun.

But since FFXI has zone lines, this could never happen. Unfortunately?

edit: And yeah, that's sort of a robotic chocobo. The gnomes are great engineers, and their mounts are robotic birds.

I don't know why they didn't have a GM just kill it or send it back home. But their servers are very different from SE's so maybe restarting really was easier.

it was invincible since it went into a town (no one can be killed in towns in wow for some reason) and gms couldn't kill it

Let's not sticky. It has nothing to do with FFXI.

Why would it be invincible? In WoW if you enter a city of the opposite faction, you are still killable, by NPCs or by other PCs in the area. You're just not killable by your own faction. PCs raid cities all the time and kill the NPCs there, so unless they've changed that I don't see why you wouldn't be able to kill a mob that was dragged there.

Kazzak isn't invincible, he just needs a nice organized raid to take down as he's EXTREMELY tough. And with him throwing out Shadowbolts every few seconds and everyone nearby, that is very doubtful. In the state he's in when he was in Stormwind, it's extremely unlikely he could be taking down even with an experienced raid though.

And this video is old and has nothing to do with FFXI. No reason to sticky this.

Seeing as how I just came from WoW I can say that this is very old since they chained all the big bosses to their spawn areas now (which sucks). But I did this to SW a long time ago too hehe.
Kazzak is actually really easy unless he gets to his powerful phase where is he unbeatable if you dont kill him in like 5 minutes.
Kiting bosses used to be a really fun part of WoW like Azuregos to Orgrimmar.
Or Taerar to Goldshire...ahh...crispy newbies ftw :D.

Edit: And to add why he is invincible, everyone he kills he gets healed for 25000 hp and when he goes super in SW he 1 shots people and is constantly healed therefore, invincible.
