G Gundam was the show that got me into anime, I'd seen other shows before it... none that were as hardcore(I was 15 at the time) as G Gundam.

Knowing that, you could probably see how this scene made my 'brain explode from the awesomeness'. Hell, it's awesome even if you haven't seen the show(probably.)



Go ahead and post your favorites... please include videos or pictures(unless it's big spoilers). I wonder what you guys can come up with.

If anything, G-Gundamn is definitely one of the best anime series I've ever had the pleasure of watching. I was literaly on the edge of my seat during many of the battles.

Probably my favorite scene in the entire series is when Domon is racing to Tokyo and makes it there in the nick of time, despite all of the guys chasing him down.

Yeah, that was definitely a good part. My favorite has to be the Double God Finger w/ Allenby(My favorite character).

the SRW series are getting... too time consuming on it's animation imo -.- I liked the older version of the games back in snes and ps1 more than their present games. Not only that, too many random robots were created for the series, you have to spent hours and hours through many episodes before the actual familiar characters/robots show up. It gets irritating.

PS2 SRW = choose attack an enemy.... the rider came out, shout 2-3 sentences, robot makes a long act swinging its arms around, pull out a gun, rider shouts more, shoot... enemy shouts a few sentences, and then woot 700 damage for all that time spent...

I enjoyed a lot of the FMVs from FFVIII. The one near the end of Disk 1 (I think) where Squall tries to kill the witch (her name escapes me right now), but she blocks the shot, so he jumps into a car and careens through the city streets after her was pretty awesome.

Also, the ballroom scene in that game.

Otherwise, um. Hmm...

edit: Haha, I tried to type Hmm[tab], to complete my sentence. Stupid Auto-Translate! Anyway, I'm trying to think of other scenes that really amazed me, but I'm hard pressed. I haven't played a lot of console games in the past few years.

The guys in the OP's video link seem really constipated. Is that common in Gundam games and anime? I've only ever seen Stardust Memory (subbed version in the early to mid 90s).

Yup that as good, witch (or sorceress) was Edea, Irvine missed the shot ( I never liked his character), ballroom was good, so was the Sorcerers parade with a carnival type atmosphere and costumes etc and the graphics when time compressed on teh way to Ultimecias castle and th ending credits, the music at the end with Squal and Rinoa on the balcony always sends shivers down my spine, the music of teh strings and oboe really help the atmosphere of that scene.

I have to say the FMV's from FFX were great especially the scene where they are skating down the wires from the airship to Bavelle to rescue Yuna, and not forgetting the airship leaving "home" and destroying it, the weaponry is enough to make any pollitition climax. Other movies of note from that are tidus and yuna in the lake, the crystal clearness of teh water and smoothness of movments, sin destroying kilika and of course the opening scene in the Blitz ball stadium.

It's clearly been way too long since I've played. I barely remember any of the characters. Still, cool scenes.

And yeah, a lot of the FMVs in FFX were also really neat.

Since 1989, the cutscene from Ys Book I to Book II has been one of my favorites. Of course, with any cutscene, I could try to find the video, but without the build up, it would probably be meaningless to anyone who hadn't seen it before. Definitely good though (even more so back in 1989).

When Zidane and the gang ride that tiny flying ship into the city, running from the evil black mages, and when vivi blasts them away with fire spells :O... i was like wooot, and then they make it into the city by an inch through the closing doors... :O... ...

Also like the attack of sin on FFX, when you see chocobo knights and a huge friggin explosion .. that was fun

The final shot from "Puss in Boots" on NES. I couldn't believe that the giant chunk of time (read:15 minutes) I sunk into that game, was rewarded with such freaking mind-melting badassiness. Holy-loly!

It was almost as good as the ending of "Felix the Cat!" or "Bubble Bobble."

Despite the fact that not a lot of folks like the game, I thought that most of the cutscenes from FFIX were awesome. Especially the scenes where the cities are destroyed.

I absolutely loved the game, Zidane and Vivi's relationship, and Steiner in the middle was my favorite ever, i really really loved the story on each character, they were very insightful, and more so than the actualy main plot, to me anyway.

Vivi's identity, hes a puppet and he only realises it later, but he has feelings, and hes lost in the world, thinking he is alone

Zidane being also a clone, also not a human being, feels just the same as Vivi, so they share their feelings and its just a great duo.

Steiner's unconditional love for the princess and his loyalty, it actually becomes his life-mission to make sure she is safe. Hes in love with a female knight, and when they team up in alexandria, its one of the best moments in the game, hes clumsy but able, silly but serious, and his armor makes a racket whenever he walks around

For me FFX as well...and the perfect ending to X-2(It doesn't count, I know, but still +_+) And, although it's not quite a CS, when I'm playing fighting games, or watching really good people play them, I get really excited...it's just cool cause they do all this awesome stuff @_@ Another of some of my favorite scenes are the ones from Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, just the story, and the characters throughout it, are all really good, and I love all the surroundings and scenes throughout it
