I can't believe someone actually remembers that game. I still have a working copy migrated to CD from original 5 1/2" diskette (I still have the 5 1/2" but it has long since become impossible to insert into my PC). I wouldn't put it on my top 10, but my brother would.

In no particular order, mind you

• Wizardry: Bane of the Cosmic Forge (I have the original Wiz. trilogy as well, but don't particularly like it)
• Wizardry: Crusaders of the Dark Savant
• Ultima VI: The False Prophet
• The Magic of Scheherazade
• Diablo II
• Seiken Densetsu III
• The Legend of Zelda (original)
• Final Fantasy V JP (Bartz)
• Resident Evil 2
• Champions of Krynn

I liked Castlevania: SotN and Castelvania II: Simon's Quest, but they wouldn't make my top 10, even though SotN was beautiful graphically, musically, and in gameplay. Baldur's Gate II, and Icewind Dale I & II were both excellent (I never played BG I), again, not top ten though.

just goes to show you no one can agree, even if there are general acceptance of certain nominations.

For me Crono Trigger, tales of phatasia, lunar, disgaea, ff12.

my couin, female, would clash on priorities from males. Her would be ff8 and 10, because of hot guys and there stories.

Just like I think Kosmos kicks royal behind. (though xs2 gameplay annoyed me off the list)

Parasite Ever I & II (Rarely known game, but really inventive and awsome. PE2. One was better though)

And since when do Resident Evil and Silent Hill fall in the RPG genre?
