Everybody there is just so effing stupid.
These must be the most ignorant and pampered kids on the face of Earth.
I'm there looking for some guide so I can figure out what I'm doing wrong in Dead Rising. This game is terrible with a few fun moments scattered through it, yet everybody loves it. They litteraly explain nothing, and when they do the text on the screen is so small you need a magnifying glass to read it. It doesn't matter what kind of television you're using, it's just terrible.
Currently I can't complete the story because it's 6pm and I needed to get this guy his medicine by 11am, but they didn't bother telling me anything about that. They just keep calling me telling these people all over the mall need to be saved, and when I'm too busy trying to save one person, giant red text flashes on my screen alerting me that I failed to save another. Are weapons in this game Photojournalist onry? They just run around ignoring the weapons, stopping to punch zombies whenever they get too close to me, and they've got more health than me!
One of these guys was listed as "The Coward" and he was too scared to be rescued. He continuously said there's too many zombies, so I went out and thinned their numbers. I come back and he's still too scared to move. How do you get him to move? You hit him! Maybe in Japan there's some sort of hint that was lost in translation, but everything in this game is as secretive as that. I ended up figuring it out after I gave up and went at him with a chainsaw. Yes, eviscerating this man gives him the courage to run to safety.
Now there's a cult that stands in the middle of zombie groups without drawing any attention to them that like to shank and jihad me. They're wearing yellow plastic rain covers and green masks. They just appeared out of nowhere, and somehow don't need to be rescued from the zombies. They're at the mall just to kill me, because the zombies just don't pose enough of a threat.
I'm going to beat this game, and it's going to suck all the way through.
I have no problems reading the text. If you're too stingy or poor to own HDTV, just turn on widescreen in the console and your text magically becomes readable.
