Re: For all you Old School Gamers...
I vaguely remember these being out.
I purchased my brand spanking new Atari 2600 in 1982 and remember liking that it hooked up to any TV with the adaptor. I would have liked that better than the monitor I see in the link for the Vectrex system.FFXI: 75 PLD/37 War/32 WHM/30 BLM/28 NIN/14 RNG/10 SAM/8 BST
Server: Kujata
Country: Sand'Oria, Rank 10
Race: Elvaan
Japanese Proverb: Fall seven times, stand up eight.

Re: For all you Old School Gamers...
My step-father had a pong machine--that was the oldest game I've ever seen, but I've never seen that thing. It must not've been very popular like the Sega Dreamcast of the Atari/Caleco revolution perhaps?
[EDIT: Found it]

It's old, but it's not older than your Atari. 1982 release date. It just didn't sell well apparently, and it had a $200 price tag back then (Holy crap). Most people probably went with the Atari. The first Ataris came out in 1977 and my step-dad's pong machine started production in 1975.
